Practice Manager
Okemos, MI
Full Time
Manager/Supervisor
If you’ve already been the person keeping things moving - solving problems across teams and making sure nothing slips through the cracks - this is your opportunity to take on a leadership role that fully reflects the value you bring.
As Practice Manager at the Wellness Institute of Michigan, you’ll be at the center of a growing mental health practice where your work truly matters. You’ll run day-to-day operations while shaping how the business operates, improves, and grows.
This isn’t a typical Practice Manager role - you’ll operate as second-in-command, with visibility across the entire business and the authority to make things work better every day.
Your work will directly support a practice built around compassionate and high-quality mental health care - creating an environment where both patients and clinicians can thrive.
What We Offer
You’ll be trusted with real responsibility and supported in doing your best work. When you join us, you can expect:
• Salary starting at $90,000 + sign-on bonus (based on experience)
• 401(k) with 3% employer match
• Health, dental, and vision insurance (dental/vision employer-paid)
• Paid time off, sick leave, and holidays
• Flexible schedule with occasional hybrid work
• A positive, compassionate culture with genuine work-life balance
What You’ll Do
• Run daily operations to keep the practice organized, efficient, and responsive
• Lead HR processes including onboarding, payroll, policies, and training
• Oversee billing, accounts receivable, and resolve issues quickly and accurately
• Manage vendors, contracts, systems, and core business infrastructure
• Partner with the CEO on KPIs, priorities, and execution of strategic initiatives
• Coordinate across clinical, administrative, and marketing functions to improve performance and drive growth
What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in business management, health care administration, or related field
• 5+ years managing operations in a healthcare or medical setting
• Strong understanding of mental health practice systems (billing, credentialing, confidentiality, compliance)
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities without dropping details
• Confidence leading people and holding teams accountable
• High level of organization, discretion, and professionalism
• Knowledge of HR systems, mental health EHR systems, and general marketing software
